BIOGRAPHY - DOUG CONLON: Singer/Songwriter
gritty folk rock
Doug Conlon's original brand of gritty folk rock first surfaced in the 90s with the occasional acoustic gig in Denver. This passion was nurtured in Dallas by acoustic showcases with rock band Eden Automatic and duo acoustic performances with wife Annette. It wasn't until relocating to Los Angeles in 2007 that Doug truly struck out on his own. Performing regularly at Southern California venues such as Sonny McLean's and Brennan's as a solo artist, with guitarist Richard Marchetta, and with The Doug Conlon Band, Doug Conlon is making a name for himself as an in demand singer/songwriter, performer, and artist.
Doug has been a member of Songsalive! since 2011 and is a member of ASCAP. He received the ASCAP struggling songwriters award in 2009 and 2010. You can find more music by Doug Conlon from his previous bands at: http://www.cdbaby.com/Artist/EdenAutomatic and http://www.cdbaby.com/Artist/RawlyPunt
